Design
Logitech has put forward some change in the body design for its new product. The black and blue colored Logitech wireless audio adapter is more like a cube compared with the prior model. You can see no curves on the outside, but it is not abrupt. This little guy will fit anywhere you want it to be. Logitech logo has been replaced to the front. A pair button labeled Bluetooth has taken the original logo place. The output interface arrangement is just the same, but because the more diminutive size it has the RCA slots seem likely been magnified for the first sight.
Performance
This Audio Adapter from Logitech can convert any speakers, home stereo systems, or A/V receivers into Bluetooth wireless devices. Once you’ve paired the adapter with a device, it will automatically re-connect. You can choose either a 3.5mm jacket or standard RCA cable to connect your system to the receiver. The sound quality and fidelity are great. There was not any discernible distortion or issues of dropped connections. Logitech says “the Bluetooth Audio Adapter is tuned at Logitech labs to deliver high-quality acoustics. And with the extended wireless range, you’ll be able to stream and control your music from up to 60 feet away.
Verdict
The Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter is a terrific little product, there are two main improvements for this little Logitech Bluetooth audio adapter
- Multi-point Bluetooth connection:Two devices pair simultaneously with one adapter, and audio can be streamed from either one of them.
- Doubled wireless broadcasting range: From former 32 feet, 10 meters to Up to 65 feet or 20 meters with an external antenna, very impressive!
With other beloved body design change and a more affordable price, Logitech Bluetooth audio adapter is definitely a powerful competitor in this category just like the former model: Logitech Wireless Speaker Adapter.

The auto-connect feature is actually a pain in the butt. My adapter is connected to my hi-fi amp, which also connects my TV and playstation. As soon as I get home my phone connects to the Logitech, which means anything I play on my phone that isn’t music (videos, voicemail messages) tries to play through the amp, which most of the time is switched to the TV input so actually I hear nothing. I am having to disable the bluetooth every day to get round this. Why didn’t Logitech put a small toggle switch on the device so we could choose whether we want to auto-connect or not?
Have you found a solution to your problem. I have the same issue. So far my only solution is to turn off BT connectivity on my phone. In fact, my DVD player will not work at all unless I do turn off BT.
Ideas on how to resolve?
Is this one better than the Sony BM10 receiver?
No I personally prefer to BM10 for the longest distance it has. But this Logitech is definitely one of the best Bluetooth Music receiver you can find on the market.
I like this s-00014 bt audio adapter, and the reviews sound good. Pairs easily and hand-offs between 2 devices pretty well. I only think it should boost volume a little. The audio level seems lower than other audio sources on my denon amp. It requires a higher volume, even if my tablet volume is maxed. It needs more gain. I will enjoy, but careful to turn dow my amp volume before changing sources.
Thank you for sharing your own valuable experience with us. It will be helpful for other guys who want to get this Bluetooth adapter.
Hi, My range is 1500-2000 Indian rupee I want to buy bluetooth audio receiver for sony home theater 5.1 which will be the best
Most bluetooth receivers including this one are only capable of 2ch stereo sound. If you want to get wireless 5.1 sound you should look at this post. http://www.portablehifi.com/bluetooth-surround-sound-system/
The auto connect is annoying, but i managed to power it through my receivers switched outlet. So at least when main receiver is off,so is the device. Logitech should have done better. I guess you could also foreget connection on your device too. Doesnt take a long time to re pair.
Your method is useful for anyone with the same question as you. Thanks!
You sir, are a genius. Great idea, I have the exact same problem and was just about to return it…never even thought about the switched outlet.
I have a Cambridge CXA60 amplifier with streaming and digital facility ( No blue tooth } wish to port my music from this amp to my blueTooth Canton DM 55
sound bar/Samsung TV and the other way if possible, will the Logitec audio adapter do the trick or if not what options do I have
What you need is a bluetooth transmitter not a receiver.
Really disappointed with this device! I bought for Rs12500′ the sound quality and gain is really bad ?? I had a bigger black box that sounded really good so cut up with this
